Obscure Glass Double Shower Conversion & Roman Tub Removal We removed the old extra large roman tub and used the alcove to build a spacious new double shower featuring 2'x2' large format tiles, multi-colored mosaic bands, and obscure glass window.
Beautiful & Functional Double Shower Renovation
We are putting the finishing touches on this lovely new, built for two, shower. We removed the old extra large roman tub and used the alcove to build a spacious new shower. Large format 2'x2' tile on the walls, multi colored mosaic for the band, and multi colored penny tile on the floor. Two mixer valves, two shower heads, and two niches.
The bench presented a unique challenge as it is usually located at the opposite end from the head. A corner bench was discussed, but it would have been small and made the presentation asymmetrical. The original window had clear glass with a window shade, so we swapped it out for obscure glass. The customer always picks the colors, but I really love the selections here. Finally, a 78"x78" clear glass sliding door was the last addition. Very nice little project!
